What is Heilkunst?

Heilkunst is the art of making whole (healthy in all aspects mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually). It is the full remediation of “dis-ease” by annihilating the cause/source of the “dis-ease”. Heilkunst is based on natural laws and is a true results based medical science complete with provings and case studies of all remedies/medicines.
Heilkunst is a scientific approach to medicine discovered by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann over 250 years ago, and is in fact the basis to our modern allopathic system of medicine.
The patient is treated by utilizing their sequential timeline (a timeline of their life traumas and events physical, mental, and emotional) in order to gain balance and a deeper understanding of self, and one’s life purpose. This occurs by removing the obstacles to one’s state of health, the blockages, in order to experience life as God would have intended. Heilkunst helps the body, mind and soul to process events/traumas so that it can finally release those blockages and move forward with life.
Heilkunst addresses both acute and chronic conditions and “dis-ease”. Nutritional/regimenal counseling is included in and an integral part of treatment.
Traumatic events (physical, mental, emotional) in our lives leave their mark on our body, mind and soul. In addition we also have inherited predispositions or familial tendencies. Together these events and predispositions bit by bit add drops to our glass. As the glass gets fuller we start experiencing symptoms of unbalance, disease, and eventually chronic degenerative conditions. Heilkunst allows us to lighten our load by allowing the body to process stressful and traumatic events that have occurred over our lives, thereby emptying our glass drop by drop to allow for a return of health. The sooner we can start removing drops from our glass the better off we are, as this lessens the load on the body allowing the body to process traumas more effectively, and limiting illness and disease. An analogy of peeling the layers of the onion is often used to explain how the process of Heilkunst works, removing one trauma at a time so that we can get to the root cause of the state of unbalance or disease. This step by step approach is done through Sequential Timeline Treatment.

What is the Difference between Heilkunst and Classical Homeopathy?

Although Heilkunst and Classical Homeopathy appear to have many similarities, they are at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of clinical efficacy and the depth of healing that can be achieved. Both systems use potentized substances (plant, mineral, animal, herbal) as medicine (remedies), and both forms study and use many of the same Materia Medicas (like the CPS for allopathic drugs, but in this case for remedies) and reference books. The terminology initially appears to be more or less the same as well. The significant difference lies in the deeper understanding of what health and disease actually are, combined with the understanding of exactly how to apply 'The Law Of Similars' at all stages of treatment (this universal law is what is used to annihilate disease). Classical Homeopathy limits treatment to presenting symptoms alone, which prevents the deeper healing which is made possible through the clinical and philosophical insights of a broader approach. This results in a Band-Aid approach, much like the prescription medication that “hides” the symptoms so that they no longer bother us. This process does not cure the underlying cause of the disease or condition, but eventually results in new symptoms appearing as the underlying cause has not been removed thereby allowing the resulting disease condition(s) to worsen or create a new disease. Heilkunst is a complete system of healing, prevention, and cure, often referred to as full remediation. Heilkunst removes causative factors thereby uprooting strongholds before they have a chance to manifest and breaking the ties that allow the continuation of current disease states. Heilkunst employs a combination of medicine, therapeutic education, truth, and regimen. In Heilkunst the aim is not for symptoms to hide, but for symptoms to permanently disappear. It is not good enough for patients to feel good temporarily; we want and expect a state of true health. In Heilkunst treatment, the sights are set on the unfolding of each individual's highest potential, which goes far beyond the view by traditional medicine of health as a mere absence of symptoms.

What is the Sequential Timeline?

The treatment of the sequential timeline includes all mental, emotional and physical traumas, which have accumulated over a lifetime. Due to our less than ideal lifestyles (running on too little sleep, convenience foods, lack of hydration etc...) traumas eventually pile up and overwhelm an already stressed body resulting in states of unbalance, illness, and disease. These traumas are treated with remedies and are removed/ processed in chronological reverse order to eliminate the negative impact they had on the person. This process leads to a state of health and recovery.
Some examples of traumas that are treated are: accidents, emotions like grief, loss, abandonment, fear, anger, humiliation, and envy, childhood diseases, vaccinations, dental work, surgeries, x-rays, prescription medications, recreational drugs, abuse, and infections.

What is the Purpose of the NSOL Remedy?

NSOL is the remedy that is given throughout sequential treatment to slowly lap away at the emotions accumulated over a life time which every human experiences, sometimes in many cases daily. The remedy helps to soften the accumulated impact of these unresolved emotions, making it easier for the body to process them properly and release them. NSOL covers the main emotions a human can experience.
NSOL is prescribed in its entirety in nearly all cases, however there are always exceptions and remedies may be omitted or given separately depending on one’s life and their life story as expressed in their Sequential Timeline.

  • N- Natrum Muriaticum for grief, loss and abandonment.
  • S- Staphysagria for humiliation, suppressed/swallowed anger and feelings of resentment and for the feeling of guilt acquired from external sources.
  • O- Opium for feelings fear and anxiety.
  • L- Lachesis for envy, self-guilt, jealousy and for issues of trust and violation of trust.

What is a Constitutional Remedy?

The constitutional remedy is given as well throughout sequential treatment. It is used to support the patient by bringing balance and grounding. It also helps to bolster the immune system of the patient, providing inner strength, making it less likely that the patient will experience acute illness or disease as the body is less susceptible to invasion.
The constitution is based on the individuals basic preferences in life, from the time of day they have the most energy, food likes and dislikes, level of thirst, sleep position, learning styles, interactions with family and society, fears, and even weather preferences to name a few. Patients are asked to reflect back to childhood, as many of us “grow into” or “learn” to tolerate or accept things as a part of our life, which gives a skewed view of who they are in a true state of health.
We look at six Genotypes and six Phenotypes. The Genotypes are Silicea, Phosphorus, Pulsatilla, Lycopodium, Calcerea carbonica and Sulphur, the Phenotypes are Natrum muriaticum, Sepia, Lachesis, Staphysagria, Nux- Vomica and Arsenicum.
The Phenotypes are states of unbalance, they are states of adaptation due to stress in the patient’s life. Phenotypes represent coping mechanisms of the patient. These adaptation processes occur after a trauma, or series of traumas (including physical, mental and emotional events) have been experienced. When the patient cannot bring themselves back into a state of balance (their Genotype) after a trauma, they enter into a Phenotype to try and cope as best as they can, leaving the patient in a state of unbalance. As unbalance continues, the more likely a state of disease can result.

Why is there a Drainage Remedy in my Dropper Bottle and What Does it Do?

The Drainage remedy is prescribed to nearly every patient. It is designed to help activate the organs of elimination (kidneys, liver, lungs, and skin) in their capacity to eliminate toxins from the body.
When a patient starts Heilkunst treatment and the body starts to heal and move towards a state of optimum health, the body will naturally release the toxins that it has been storing as it now has the energy and the means to do so. Toxins are stored in the body rather than eliminated due to the inability of the body to function at its optimum due to stress, overload and disease conditions. The Drainage remedy is necessary to ensure that the organs of elimination function work properly, so that the patient will not suffer from the side effects of the body healing itself through the release of stored toxins.

What are Timeline Remedies?

Timeline remedies are given in powder form and are to be taken on consecutive days starting with the lowest potency, as marked on the package.
These remedy combinations are specifically designed for the traumatic events as they happened in the life of the patient, as indicated on the Sequential Timeline.
The timeline remedies are given in reversed order to lift the impact the traumas have had i.e. the most recent trauma first. In this way it is like peeling the layers off of the onion, slowly removing the impact of various events in a gentle way rather than going for the root that is embedded and protected by fortresses/ walls/ self protecting mechanisms/ untruths and false beliefs that the patient had developed over time.

What Are the Causes of Illness?

There are five causes of illness:

1. Trauma: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.
2. Emotions: fear, anger, grief, unresolved conflict.
3. Radiation exposure
4. Chemical exposure (both internal and external).
5. Diet and lifestyle.

“Disease is a general condition of one’s environment” – Gunther Enderlein

What is Live Blood Analysis?

Live blood analysis is the process of looking at a drop of blood suspended between two slides in order to see the various components of the blood, their quality, viability, action and interaction with other cells, and ultimately the level of health of the blood, the tissues, body systems, and the individual.

“Blood is not a liquid, but a flowing tissue”- Antoine Bechamp

Blood is living, moving, and ever changing. There is a healthy and unhealthy form and process for every cell. Variations in the blood mean that you are alive and responding to your environment. “Perfect” blood is not a reality.

See Blood Analysis sample pictures

What Benefit is there to Having a Live Blood Analysis Done?

Live blood analysis distinguishes between a healthy and an unhealthy cell, rather than just a cell count. We are interested in the action, reaction, and interaction of the various cells and components in order to determine current deficiencies, needs, excesses, intolerances, and stressors of the cells, tissues, and systems within the body.
A blood analysis is a preventative and reactive tool, revealing early warning signs of disease or impending disease if the current condition does not change i.e. diet, lifestyle and exercise. It can help to verify existing conditions/illnesses and how the body is responding to the current treatment, or if further treatment is required.
It can assist in prevention of disease and illness by seeing, understanding, and implementing what the body needs in order to perform at its optimum.
By observing the stages within the blood we can correlate them with varying symptoms and onset of imbalance and disease.

“Disease is an underlying condition not the symptoms we diagnose or the ‘bugs’ involved”- Claude Bernard

What Happens at a Live Blood Analysis Consultation?

The blood sample is taken from a finger poke. One drop of blood is brought to the surface and collected on a slide. This sample will be exposed to the air and dried.
The finger is wiped and a second drop of blood is taken. This drop will be suspended between two slides so that the blood and its components remain alive.
The patient watches the analysis as it unfolds on a monitor. The Analyst will discuss what they see, and ask questions to confirm findings.

The Analyst is looking for five main indicators/stressors in the sample:

  1. pH of the blood (the acid/alkaline state).
  2. The Zeta potential of the red blood cells, this is the electric or magnetic charge of the cell.
  3. Level of toxicity due to poisoning through environmental factors, medications, drugs, cosmetics, supplements and vitamins, tap water, dental materials, and food additives.
  4. Nutritional state.
  5. Oxidative stress (the measure of free radical activity in your blood, it is the body’s inability to take out the garbage/toxins and waste).

** The level of stress is indicative of the degree of imbalance in the body. The degree of imbalance defines the level of health of the individual, giving us a clear picture of how to best support the patient on all levels.
The patient is recommended various supports i.e. nutritional changes, supplements, vitamins, exercises, and/or homeopathic remedies to support the findings in the sample.

Why are you concerned with my Blood Type?

Blood type is important as it can verify why certain stressors are being found in the blood. Nutritionally speaking, we are what we eat, and each blood type is designed (via the amounts of digestive enzymes) to be able to digest certain types of food better than others. If you are eating food that is not compatible with your blood type, this could be the answer to your metabolic and digestive health issues, including fatigue, gas, bloating, weight gain and much more. Don’t know your blood type? No problem, your Live Blood Analyst will be happy to type it for you.

What is the Role of Heilkunst within Blood Analysis?

Heilkunst is an important adjunct for blood analysis. Homeopathic remedies assist in the cleanup process (detoxification) of the body safely and quickly bringing about greater change in one’s health. Sequential timeline treatment gets at the underlying root cause of the diseases and imbalances, eradicating them leaving the patient in a state of health and balance. Heilkunst is used to treat the emotional issues that are often displayed in the blood, and at the root of many chronic conditions.

How Do I Prepare For a Live Blood Analysis?

The sample is best taken when the patient has been fasting for 12 hours. Afternoon patients can have a light, non-fat breakfast at least 6 hours before the appointment.

Drink only pure water the day of the appointment, start drinking plenty of water 48 hours in advance of the appointment.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to the appointment.

If safe for the patient all vitamins, supplements and medications should be stopped 24-48 hours in advance of the appointment.

Do not wear any perfumes, lotions, or hand creams the day of the appointment.

How Do I Choose the Appropriate Foods According to Blood Typology?

Blood Type O
‘O’ types do very well with red meat ( in moderation), poultry, fish, nut and seed proteins, vegetables, especially dark green and leafy ones, and fruits; they do not digest grains or dairy very well. Grains that do work for ‘O’ types are oat, amaranth, spelt, barley and rye. ‘O’’s should avoid oranges, and most melons. ‘O’ types should avoid the cabbage (brassica), and tomato (nightshade) families and corn.

Blood Type A
‘A’ types do well with vegetables, fruits, and grains such as spelt, amaranth, barley, buckwheat, oats, and rye. Wheat should be avoided. Proteins for ‘A’ blood type would be eggs, turkey, chicken, salmon, seeds and nuts. ‘A’ types should avoid oranges, cantaloupes and honeydews, but do very well with pineapple. ‘A’ types enjoy fermented dairy products such as yogurt or kefir. Proteins in beans and legumes are very good for ‘A’ types, excluding kidney, lima and garbanzo. Vegetables are vital to the ‘A’ type, avoiding tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and cabbage.

Blood Type B
‘B’ blood types enjoy the most rounded diet, including dairy (in moderation). ‘B’s should avoid wheat and rye products, lentils, corn, tomatoes and most nuts and seeds. Rice, oats and millet make good grain choices for ‘B’s. Vegetables are very beneficial to ‘B’ types, including potatoes, peppers and cabbages. ‘B’s need plenty of leafy greens. The ‘B’ blood type enjoys a wide range of fruits, exceptions being coconut and rhubarb. Pineapple helps with digestion.

Blood Type AB
The ‘AB’ type is a mix of the ‘A’ and ‘B’ type. ‘AB’s often reporting feeling great eating certain foods for a while, and then having those same foods no longer agree with them. ‘AB’s need meat protein, but in small frequent amounts, like turkey and lamb, avoiding beef and chicken. ‘AB’s enjoy dairy like yogurt, cottage cheese, and eggs. ‘AB’s do well on grains, but limit bran consumption, buckwheat and corn. Oats, rye, and rice make better choices. ‘AB’s should eat plenty of fresh vegetables throughout the day and can eat tomatoes especially in season. Fruits to avoid are bananas, oranges, and mangos.

How Can Dynamic Nutrition Help You?

A Dynamic Nutrition consultation can help you reach your goals of optimal health, by devising a personalized plan that is just right for you and your unique body type.

A regimen plan can help rejuvenate your energy, increase your metabolism, and stabilize blood sugar levels.

What is Regimen?

Regimen is thoroughly discussed with patients at their initial consultation. Regimen includes all aspects of nutrition, recreation/relaxation, hydration, and sleep as ways to improve one’s health and sense of well being. These components are known as the Four Cardinal Points. Regimen is an integral part of all components of health care treatment, and is discussed as a part of all appointments.

The Four Cardinal Points
The four Cardinal Points are the four major components to good health and longevity. They are interrelated and integral to each other. If one of components is unbalanced, it can lead to problems with one’s health or perception thereof, and even to ‘dis’ease.

  1. Nutrition
Nutrition as we look at it within this field pertains to more than just the food we eat, it is the type and quality with emphasis on whole foods, and the body’s ability to absorb and utilize the nutrients, minerals, and vitamins within the foods, right down to the cellular level.
  2. Sleep
We often think that a good night’s sleep is just for kids, however, our body uses sleep to repair, restore, and process daily functioning and activity. Our body has a limit to the amount of sleepless nights that it can tolerate before it starts to shut down and weaken, allowing stress and ‘dis’ease states to emerge. There are also guidelines to the way we sleep, and what type of sleep, and when we should sleep in order to properly allow our body to rejuvenate itself.
  3. Hydration
Hydration goes beyond drinking 6-8 glasses of water per day to also include the type of water that you drink, and the ability for your body to absorb and utilize it. It also includes the other types of fluids that you drink and how they can actually dehydrate your body, and ultimately your blood cells and internal organs.
An important necessity for all patients is to drink sufficient amounts of pure water to be fully hydrated. Drinking a minimum of two litres of unadulterated water, not juice or tea, nor coffee, is necessary to maintain optimal health. Many complaints of patients can actually be pinpointed back to not having had enough water to drink. When a patient is fully hydrated a much clearer symptom picture is presented to the Heilkünstler so that the real diseases can be treated and not conditions arising from improper regimen particularly hydration.
  4. Exercise/Recreation
Exercise is part of regimen, however, it is not looked at in the same way as one would think under the influence of society and media pressure to get out and sweat it out. How much is too much? Is there such a thing as too much exercise? What exercise best suits you and your body type? It is also important to note what types of recreational activities you engage in, as these activities can promote relaxation and fun, which in turn, decreases stress, and balances hormones.
